Parents are welcome to observe the occasional lesson but it is not recommended that you do this often.  Lessons tend to go much smother and are much more productive without the distraction of having someone else in the room.  At the same time, it is important that parents make themselves available to discuss their child’s progress on occasion but it is not necessary to wait around at MMM every week.  If the lessons are generally going well you and prefer to leave it is certainly all right to do so.  If you chose not to come into the studio with your child and an important issue comes up we will certainly call or email.

PLEASE NOTE – MMM teachers cannot guarantee individual attention to students outside of their lessons times since our lessons are in large part are booked back to back with no free time between.  If you do not feel that your child is old enough to enter and leave the building on his/her own please escort your child to each lesson.  It also helps to give them specific instructions as to what to do if you are late picking them up….wait inside vs come outside to meet you.  In an emergency,  however, they will not be abandoned and they can can certainly feel free to ask us for help or use our phones to call you. This should be the exception since doing so will more often than not interrupt another student’s lesson.
